The Proposal

Cabo San Lucas | December 20, 2017

After 11:00 a.m. upside-down shots at the Giggling Marlin, Kent popped the question while he and Melissa were parasailing. High over the waters of the Pacific Ocean and the Sea of Cortez, with the Cabo San Lucas Arch in the background, she (cried and) said yes.

At sunset that night, they celebrated with the Tamayo Family and a bunch of rowdy pirates on a pirate ship. 

The next night the celebration continued with a feast at Flora Farms. 

Kent (smartly) left the real ring at home, but gave Melissa a temporary Tortuga ring, purchased on the beach. Once they were home in San Diego, he proposed all over again. This time in the comfort of their living room, under candlelight.
